Privacy Policy
Pick & Plunder
Last updated: September 18, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the mobile game Pick & Plunder (the "Game").
Pick & Plunder is designed to operate without requiring users to create an account or provide personal information.
2. Data Collection
Pick & Plunder does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. Google Analytics for Firebase is included in the Game, but Analytics collection is disabled by default and is enabled only if you choose Allow.
The Game does not ask for or send the following through its developer-defined Analytics events:
- names or contact information;
- email addresses;
- precise GPS location;
- photos, videos, audio, or files;
- contacts;
- financial or payment information;
- health information;
- player-entered or other free-form text.
Firebase Installations may process a per-installation identifier as described in Section 6. If Analytics is allowed, the gameplay events and related technical information described there are transmitted to and processed by Google/Firebase.
3. Local Game Data
Pick & Plunder may store game progress, settings, unlocked content, scores, inventory information, and other gameplay-related information locally on your device.
The local save data itself remains on your device. If Analytics is allowed, selected gameplay actions and values may also be sent as Analytics events as described in Section 6; this does not transmit the full local save data.
Removing the Game or clearing its application data may remove locally stored progress and settings.
4. Accounts
Pick & Plunder does not currently require or provide user accounts, registration, or sign-in functionality.
5. Advertising
Pick & Plunder does not currently display third-party advertising and does not use Google Ads, remarketing, or advertising personalization. Collection of the Android Advertising ID is disabled.
The Analytics consent signals ad_storage,
ad_user_data, and ad_personalization
remain denied.
6. Google Analytics for Firebase
Pick & Plunder uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google/Firebase, only to understand how the Game is used and to improve it.
On first launch, the Game presents a neutral choice: Allow or Don't allow. Analytics remains off unless you choose Allow. Choosing Don't allow keeps it off. You can change your choice later under About → Analytics settings. Withdrawing permission disables further Analytics collection. Changing your choice to Don't allow stops future Analytics collection but does not automatically delete Analytics data that was collected while Analytics was enabled. Events that occurred while Analytics was disabled are not recorded and are not replayed later if Analytics is enabled.
Gameplay events defined by the Game. If Analytics is allowed, the Game may send events such as:
- starting or completing the tutorial;
- starting or completing a level;
- starting or ending an attempt;
- a score;
- obtaining or using an item;
- obtaining or spending coins;
- breaking a lockpick.
Event parameters may include the game mode, level number, score, an internal item identifier, or an amount of virtual currency. These developer-defined events do not include localized player names, your name or email address, or text entered by you.
Technical information processed automatically. Separately from the gameplay events above, the Firebase SDKs may automatically process technical information appropriate to the device and environment. Firebase Installations may generate and process a Firebase installation ID even while Analytics collection is disabled. When Analytics is allowed, Google Analytics for Firebase may process the other Analytics information listed below.
- a Firebase installation ID (FID), which identifies an app installation and does not uniquely identify a person or a physical device;
- an Analytics app-instance identifier used to distinguish an installation for measurement when Analytics is allowed;
- app lifecycle and usage information, such as first launch, app opens, sessions, and screen views;
- relevant app, SDK, and device information, such as app version, operating system and version, device model or brand, device form factor, the app installer, and the Firebase SDKs and versions used;
- an IP address may be processed at collection time to derive coarse location information and route measurement traffic; Google states that raw IP addresses are discarded after use and are not logged or stored in Google Analytics.
The exact technical information can vary by device and environment. The Game has no user accounts and does not set an Analytics user ID based on a name, email address, or other information entered by you. The Advertising ID is disabled as described in Section 5.
For more information, see Google's official documentation about Google Analytics for Firebase data collection, the Firebase Analytics Android data disclosure, Firebase installations and IDs, privacy and security in Firebase, and the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Data Sharing
The developer does not sell or rent Analytics data. When you allow Analytics, the information described in Section 6 is transmitted to and processed by Google/Firebase as the analytics service provider. It is not used by the Game for advertising, remarketing, or advertising personalization.
8. Children's Privacy
Pick & Plunder does not ask children or other users to provide a name, email address, or other contact information, and it does not provide user accounts.
Analytics remains disabled unless Allow is chosen in the Game. If Analytics is allowed, the limited gameplay events and technical information described in Section 6 may be processed. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact the developer using the address below.
9. Privacy Policy Website
This Privacy Policy is hosted using Firebase Hosting, a service provided by Google. Visiting this website is separate from using the Pick & Plunder mobile application.
The hosting provider may process technical information necessary to securely deliver this web page, such as network requests and server logs, according to its own terms and privacy practices. This does not mean that Pick & Plunder itself collects such information from users of the Game.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of Pick & Plunder or its data practices change, for example if online features, advertising, cloud saves, user accounts, or other services are introduced.
Any updated version will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be changed accordingly.
